Manpreet Singh Biography
Manpreet Singh is an Indian National hockey player who represents Indian Men's Senior team in International level.He was born on Feb 26, 1992 at Jalandhar , Punjab .The young Indian star plays midfield in the current rooster. He nurtured into the senior international level at 2011 Champions Trophy(when he was just 19 years old) , soon after then he was one of the regular members of the Indian Men's Junior team as well senior Men's squad .Manpreet singh was selected as the Junior Indian Men's team captain for the Junior Hockey world cup ,Sultan Johar Cup , Junior Men's Asian Trophy and other tournaments during 2012-2014 .He was and still one of the youngsters in the current senior men's sqaud with vast experience.He is one of the promising member of the Indian hockey team who is expected to be a future star of indian hockey .He was selected as the ‘Junior Player of the Year’ by the Asian Hockey Federation.
Manpreet Singh Career
Manpreet Singh was one of the prominent member of the Punjab state team during his U-14 ,U -16 ,U-18 days.Soon Has he reached the U-18 category he started representing Junior Indian hockey team .He then played for Indian overseas bank in the initial career. Later he was given appointment with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited .Now he is one of the promising stars of current senior men's Indian hockey team.

Manpreet Singh started his career as a forward .He had outstanding sprint skills and agility during his schooling days.Also he was a mentally very strong forcing through balls through different coreners of the ground which made him choose the mid field position .He is also developing his drag flicking skills which was a vitol weapon during his Junior career.Yet ,the promising player with all his extraordinary skills is delivering to his expectations but still is yet to accomplish all his quality.He is rendered to be one of the best indian midfielder for his quality.

Manpreet Singh has his residence at Mithapur , Punjab in a common middle-class family .He has two elder brothers.Since he was the youngest in the family he was the favourite .When Manpreet singh chose to play hockey all his family members where just worried that playing a fast and furious game like hockey would hurt him.His love for hockey was understood only when once his elder brother locked him in the house so that he wont be able to go for hockey practice but still Manpreet went to the terrace and jumped to the slabs and ran for his practice punctually.Even during his Junior India career his mother would call him all the day.He is well known for his discipline and determination.
Manpreet Singh Love Life:
Manpreet Singh found the love of his life during his junior career.When he was appointed the captain of Junior Indian Men's team for the Sultan of Johar Cup November,2013 not only he won India the trophy ,he also won the cute Pakistani origin muslim girl based in Malaysia - Illi Najwa Saddique a business administration student then and now a business consultant at NewDelhi . She was a regular vistor to the match days during the tournament .It was Love at first Sight for both of them says Illi in an interview with a newschannel. Although they both of different religion and live different life they live a happy and pleasant life.The couple got engaged officially last year with close family members and teamates.
