Rupinder Pal wins it for India...Stays undefeated !

The Men's Indian hockey team have made an end to the Malaysian's winning streak in the ongoing Asian Men's Champions trophy 2016.The match was a close one and the Indian's could only earn the victory in the last two minutes of the final quarter. The Indian Men's team have now established themselves at the top of the table with this victory and stays undefeated.

The Indian team started the scoring sheet through a PC earned by Pardeep's move into the circle and shot in by drag  flicker Rupinder Pal Singh in the 1st quarter.Rupinder Pal's drag flick got deflected from a Malaysian defender to the post and got rebounded , sent to the goalkeeper's right roof by Rupinder again.

The Malaysians came back strong and gave the Indian's a real fight. The Akash the reserve goalkeeper was a given a chance and indeed he gave some fantastic saves .The Malaysian's however scored through a PC in the 18th minute by Razie Rahim.And this was Razie Rahim's first ever chance at a PC in this tournament and he was powerful enough to score the equalizer for Malaysia.India was penalised for a push and Surender was punished with a yellow card for the final 10 mins of the game.But the 10 man Indian team stroked back through a PC with just 2 minutes to go through a Rupinder Pal's scorcher and win the game 2-1 .

Match Facts:

1)1st time in this tournament Malaysia gets a goal inside the 1st quarter.

2)Malaysia's first loss in this tournament.

3)All three goals were scored in the PC's.

4)Both the Indian goals were scored by ace drag flicker Rupinder Pal Singh.
