As said by Kothajit, “I tried to remain positive telling myself that age is on my side and that I would get opportunities to represent the country at the Olympics in future provided I keep performing. I didn’t want to think too much about what was not in my hands.

After being made the  vice- captain of the 2nd Sultan of Johar Cup and he was determined to do even better to improve and excel in his performance. This lad has always had a very positive outlook in regard to the team, very cooperative with his coaches knowing that it’s all for their improvement and continues to do his best. When asked in what ways he could improve, he said the most important one was in terms of gaining experience, which he is a little short of. He never stopped giving his best though the progress was slow and steady.
