Indian Squad for Asian Men's Champions Trophy 2016

The Asian Men's Champion Trophy 2016 is all set to take place on October 20 in Kuantan, Malaysia. India holds an History of being the tile holders in the inaugural edition 2011.
The 18 member's Indian Hockey team for the Asian Men's Champions Trophy will be led by the Goalie P R Sreejesh and Rupinder Pal Singh will take up the Vice Captain tag replacing Manpreet Singh due to his injury, also S V Sunil and Raghunath are held back in India for the same (due to their injuries) and are under re-habitation.
We have Ramandeep Singh to fill the place left by Sunil while Akashdeep Singh will takeover as a midfielder in substituting for Manpreet. And to everyone's surprise, we have Birndra Lakra back in the team. Being missed the opportunity to take part in the Rio Olympics 2016 due to his injury, we all hope his come back makes a hike in his performance chart.
The team will be coached by Roelant Oltmans.
